The comments in Strong's, and from some other commentators lends to the thought some research on this word. Here are some of my notes:
Perschbacher's Lexicon says that "gleukos" "unfermented juice of grapes, must;
hence sweet new wine" (p. 81). Mounce said in his Lexicon that the word means, this.
Personally, I stay with the normal and most common meaning of the word,
because I do not see anything in the context to justify another meaning.
Especially in light of Peter's response. He seems to respond in irony for many
reasons. First, the apostles would not get drunk any time of the day. They
were faithful to the Law, which forbade such behaviour. Peter would never have wine, to me would be adding to the text.
